Bio

Victoria attended a full-time program at Canada West Canine Center in 2013 and obtained her Advanced Obedience Trainer Certification and Master Dog  Trainer Certification. During the course, she learned Basic and Advance Obedience, Behavior Problem Training, Behavior Modification and Counter Conditioning techniques, Temperament Testing, Kennel Management, Grooming, Dog Sport,  Support Dog Training, Business Management, and the course focused strongly on Tracking Training and Scent Detection Training.

Victoria is proud to say that she is a Certified Obedience Trainer and Master Dog Trainer. The education does not stop there, as a portion of her income regularly goes towards courses, seminars, and conferences to learn how to manage specific behavioral problems in dogs.

Victoria attends the IACP (International Association of Canine Professionals Conference) yearly and has attended seminars like Relationship Based Behavior Modification with Nelson Hodges and Pet First aid courses.

It is Victoria's goal to attend one educational seminar or conference per year, to ensure her training methods are up to date. Victoria strives to provide the most up-to-date and modern science-based training methods.

She also loves learning new ways to help dogs and challenges herself to use a combination of techniques depending on every unique dog and their situation. Victoria loves the challenge of figuring out difficult dogs of every behavior problem and implementing the years of dog training knowledge to transform dogs into enjoyable and incredible family members.

"Since I was a young girl I have had a passion for training dogs. My family's first dog, named Chloe, filled my life with fifteen years of joy and happiness. Saying 'goodbye' to Chloe was very difficult but I was grateful that my first dog was so gentle and was such a great companion, tolerating my sister and I at every stage growing up. Soon after, my mom adopted a Swiss Mountain rescue dog named Bonnie.  This dog stole my heart with her intelligence, I started doing at-home trick and obedience training with her.  The more she learned, the more excited I was becoming when interacting with other dogs and  I soon began to fall in love with training and saw potential in all dogs. I soon recognized that I understood dogs and could very naturally manage their behavior. This is when my spark for dog training began. Since then Victoria adopted a Long Haired German Shepherd named Nala in 2013, and a Weimaraner named Misty in 2015"
